You may or may not have a choice of reception sources. Cable continues to be placed through much of the area, though not yet everywhere. You'll probably need either cable or a dish system: due to the mountains, antennas provide very limited reception in most locations. Local cable service is through Charter Communications. Their website is www.charter.com. Their toll free number is 1-800-955-7766. You will need to come into their office to apply for service. They are located at 220 Postal Street, off of Blowing Rock Rd. [also Hwy 321], in Boone. They are located behind the Boone Post Office. There are so many dish alternatives that I'm leaving this one up to you. |
