Event Description:
Join SAHC South Yellow Mountain Preserve Manager, Park Greer, for a moderately strenuous hike to Pine Knob, an exposed rocky outcrop with stunning views of the Black Mountains. Along the trail, Park will provide interpretation of the area’s geology and history, which dates back hundreds of years.
Participants should be prepared for uneven terrain, rocky inclines, and potential snowy conditions. After registering, attendees will receive detailed directions, meeting instructions, and other important information a few days prior to the hike.
