The 2026 Boone Docs Film Festival celebrates its 5th year of showcasing short documentaries focused on the people who live and work in Appalachia. This festival provides an opportunity to explore the culture, history, and stories of the High Country through the lens of talented filmmakers. Attendees will enjoy a variety of short films, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, and on-stage award presentations, including "Judges' Choice," "Student Filmmaker," and "People's Choice."
