Event Description:
Now on view in WAC’s main gallery from May 5 through June 30, The Art of Jazz: An Artistic Response brings together the work of seven local artists exploring the many meanings and moods of jazz through visual art. WAC will also host a special public reception for The Art of Jazz on June 11 from 5-7 pm at the App Theatre. Guests will have the opportunity to meet participating artists, experience the exhibition in a shared community setting, and enjoy a cash bar during the evening. The reception is free and open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend in support of local artists and the continuing connection between visual art and music in the High Country.
