Join us for a visual chronicling of the 2025 Boonerang Music & Arts Festival. The film will explore the origins of the term “Boonerang,” the music & arts festival itself, why people come back to the area, the regional impacts of Hurricane Helene, and the importance of the 2025 festival being the first one since the community faced the tragedy of a natural disaster.

Through the lens of local leaders, musicians, artists, and festival organizers we learn what makes this creative community so tight knit, and why people are drawn back to Boone and the surrounding areas.
