Meet-up location: Watauga River Paddle Trail Water Access, (66C6+69, Valle Crucis, NC 28679)

Event Description:
Join your High Country crew, in partnership with High Country Wild, a local chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation (NCWF) for another live staking workday to kick off the New Year. We will be planting thousands of trees at the park that day, thanks to National Wildlife Federation’s Trees for Wildlife Program.

Please bring: Plenty of water, lunch/snacks, warm layers & gloves (we’ll be in and around the creek, so dress for the weather and make sure you bring items you don’t mind getting dirty), rubber boots and/or waders and an extra set of dry clothes.
**We will have some waders and boots, but bring your own if you have them! We will also have gloves and loppers available.
