Experience the creativity of Penland School of Craft at their annual Community Open House! Visitors can try free hands-on activities in the teaching studios, led by studio coordinators and assisted by over 100 volunteers. Explore media including glass, iron, clay, metals, textiles, printmaking, wood, paste painting, drawing, bookmaking, and more.

This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages. Enjoy a food truck and visit the school store during your visit. Upon arrival, guests receive a map and overview of activities, with shuttles running from parking areas to the main campus. Accessible parking is available on site.
