Event Description:
Join “The Art of Walking,” a 3-mile loop along Boone Greenway and Kennedy Trail with an art theme to complement the First Friday Art Crawl in Boone. No experience with art or writing is needed, though a love for walking in nature is encouraged.

During the walk, participants will have time to sit, draw, or write about the experience. Journaling is optional, and there’s no need to share your work. The Kennedy Trail features a natural surface with roots, rocks, and hills, offering a beautiful, immersive experience.

After the walk, the group can reconvene at the Turchin Center for the Arts at 5:00 PM to enjoy the First Fridays Art Crawl in downtown Boone. The event is free, but registration is suggested.
