Ashe Home Market November 2025

The bigger picture is that the market is acting normal for a November.  Basically, that means winding down from the more active summer months.  Know that it generally picks up a bit in December and January as holiday visitors and skiers take more interest in buying.

Within that overall picture, less homes are on the market and less sold in Ashe during November.  Holding steady for Ashe are:  the Odds of Selling a home, the number selling per month [the past 12 months’ average is 31 per month], the number under contract, and the number that are market rejected [leave the market unsold].

The average and median sales values are lower in November than October.  Those averages zig zag each month.  It’s been interesting to see homes selling in Ashe over $1 mil.  Two sold in November, each with a bit of acreage with them.    Five $1mil and above homes are currently under contract, so the over $1 mil sales may on their way to becoming as common in Ashe as they are in the Watauga market.

The Pond tells us it continues to be a buyers’ market.
