Join local writers for Shut Up & Write!® in Boone, a relaxed and supportive weekly meetup designed to help you get more writing done.
This event welcomes writers of all genres and experience levels. Whether you’re working on fiction, nonfiction, poetry, journaling, or academic writing, this session provides dedicated time for focused writing in a friendly community setting.
Participants arrive, settle in, and enjoy brief introductions before a timed quiet writing session begins. After writing, attendees are welcome to stay and socialize, sharing experiences and challenges though participation in discussion is always optional.
Please note: This event does not include critiques or readings. It is a safe, distraction-free space for writing productivity.
Free WiFi is available at the venue. Parking is free on King Street on Sundays. Attendees are encouraged to support the host venue by purchasing a drink or snack.
